Peninsula Cycle

A rare day off from the daily grind. Mr Sun even put in an appearance so what’s a guy to do other than man up and pedal his first fifty miler on the push bike cycling through County Down around part of the Peninsula.

Starting off at the back of Stormont up the lung busting Craigantlet hills to Bangor, through Donaghadee, Millisle, and Ballywalter all with the wind on the back before turning and heading across to Greyabbey and Newtownards against the wind. Then with the wind on my back again it was up to Comber and then back in to the wind along the Comber greenway to East Belfast for a well deserved ‘Mug o Taye‘ with the feet up.
