62 Hilly, Blustery miles

Out on the bicycle again this morning on the Titanic Quarter Cycling Club’s ride, fighting a strong wind and the force of gravity climbing up over Craigantlet, Bradshaw Brae and Gilnahirk hills this morning meant sore legs and zero energy this evening. Luckily it was mostly dry bar a couple of showers, but the showers were heavy enough to leave me wishing I had bought a bicycle with disc brakes.

Other than a lack of grip and braking my ride was pretty uneventful whereas others in the group had a puncture and a rear wheel freehub lock up solid, luckily without any crash or injury.
