Cycling the Lagan Towpath

A beautiful day for the bicycle but with a 75 mile charity cycle planned for tomorrow I didn’t want to ride a route that might deplete the energy reserves today, so I went for a nice handy, slow speed pedal along the Lagan Towpath.

The Lagan Towpath can be hit or miss for cycling due to its popularity with Dog Walkers, Joggers, broken Glass etc but it wasn’t too bad this morning and it was good to go at a slower speed than normal to look around and take in the sights and sounds and capture a few pictures on my Phone.

Returning back to Belfast I cycled round to The Dock in the Titanic Quarter, an honesty box Cafe where you pay the price that you think your food and service was worth. I opted for the Carrot and Coriander Soup with a Bap before pedalling back home.
