Castlereagh Club run

For the first time in a number of Weeks I was able to go out on the Sunday Club run with my cycling club, Castlereagh.

As usual we gathered at Forster Green then a loose plan of ‘head South’ was formed so we set off up the Saintfield Road, through Carryduff up to Temple Golf Club then Boardmills, Bailies Mills and on to Annahilt. Through Ballykeel we went and on to Kinallen before swinging round to Dromara and heading for Ballynahinch where we were meant to stop at a Coffee shop but not today as one of the group wanted home early so we all pushed on to Saintfield back to Carryduff and the descending down the Saintfield road back to where we started.

A shorter than usual club run of 45 miles with my average speed being 16.3mph registering quite a few personal best times over some of the segments.
