Rest and recovery day

No Cycling today, just a bit of a longer lie on the Pillow then after poaching some Eggs for Breakfast it was out with the trusty Nikon a short spin over to the National Trusts’s Cregagh Glen at Lisnabreeny.

The steep sides of the Glen and the thick overhead foliage blocked out the low Autumnal Sun from getting down in to the Glen, light was at a premium but I made a few exposures anyhow.

Climbing back up out of the steep pathway I crossed a field to the American Military Memorial which was once a temporary burial ground for US servicemen who died in Northern Ireland between 1943 and 1948.
