Monday, May day, a day off Work and the Sun was out and the temperatures were up.
I met a friend, Andreea, in Ballyhackamore and set off along the Comber Greenway then Cycling up the new Line and Gransha road passing La Mon Hotel and on in to Moneyreagh. The Monlough Road and Ravara road took us around to Ballygowan.
Up the Saintfield road and through Saintfield town and on out the Listooder road in the direction of Crossgar throwing in an extra loop for a few extra miles before coming through Kilmore in to Crossgar. Sticking to the main road we were soon in Killyleagh stopping at Picnic to refuel but it was jam packed so we opted to continue on round the shore of Strangford Lough via the Ringdufferin road to Whiterock and stopping at Daft Eddies to take on some fuel and soak in the Vitamin D in the hot Sunshine.
The return home from Daft Eddies was the traditional route via Castle Espie and the Ballydrain road to Comber and back along the Comber Greenway. Fifty Six miles of hot Sunshine and dry tarmac.
