I left home this morning to travel to Seaforde in County Down for round Six of the Holeshot Motocross championships. Leaving home it was a lovely morning, nice and dry but sadly the forecast was for Rain, all day long Rain.
Arriving at the Circuit it was still a nice morning but it wasn’t long until the first spots of Rain started falling, and when it starts to Rain in Ireland it is usually in no hurry to stop Raining. The persistent Rain very quickly turned the track conditions in to a slippery mud-bath for the competitors and made some of the Hills very tricky to navigate.
With conditions worsening the organisers announced they would only run Two races for each class, having already seen one race per class I took that as my cue to head for home.
