Chasing the Light

Thursday Evening, home from Work and out on the Bicycle to make the most of the remaining daylight on a chilly but lovely sunny evening.

A gentle start up the Comber Greenway to Comber just to warm the legs up then lift the effort levels along the old Ballygowan road in to the Ballynichol road and climbing up the Drumhirk road. The legs were feeling good so I kept a decent effort up taking the Burn road and out on to the Moss road. The roads were quiet and the Evening light was getting better by the minute ๐Ÿ™‚ the only Camera with me was a Phone Camera… never the best for anything more than a snapshot.

I turned in to the Tullynagee road to make my way to Comber and on up the hills to Scrabo hoping to get there before the golden light disappeared.

Descending down from Scrabo and in to Newtownards then the long climb up past Kiltonga over Bradshaw’s Brae and a descent down in to Dundonald in the dusk. A lovely evening for a Cycle but a chill in the air hinting at the approaching Winter and the long dark nights ๐Ÿ™
