The Internationals

This coming Weekend sees the first of the ‘big Three‘ International Road Races of the Year the 2011 Relentless International North West 200.

Just like last Year I will give the opening Evening’s practice on the Tuesday a miss and instead venture up to the North Coast on Thursday for the daytime practice session, travel back down for a return to Work on Friday then back up again on Saturday for Race Day.

With John McGuinness, Keith Amor, Steve Plater and Ian Hutchinson all absentees this Year there is a big opportunity there for one of of our local Racers to make a name for themselves. Alastair Seeley was the main Man last Year and will be confident of more success this Year. Michael Dunlop fresh from a Superbike win at Tandragee will be full of confidence as will Cameron Donald who dominated the Irish Championship Races here over Easter. Guy Martin will want to get off to a good start for Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing. Ryan Farquhar has got to be quietly confident of his chances and lets not forget about the World’s fastest Road racer Bruce Anstey on the Padgett’s Honda machinery. Its shaping up to be a good days racing, lets home the fickle Weather plays Ball.
